Sponsored by Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz and Turner, The Bridge is a seven-month commercialization program for startups, acting as a bridge between the Israeli entrepreneurial community and major global markets in the U.S., Latin America, Africa/Eurasia and the Pacific.

The true secret to success in this unique commercialization program is that there is a full alignment of interests between the partner corporations and the startup companies. The young, agile and innovative spirit of the startups is a refreshing wind in each one of the large corporations who must keep themselves open to new ideas in a fast-changing world. The startups, on the other hand, are getting a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be guided by our future customers in what can become a turning point in the startup life.

During The Bridge, Mercedes-Benz and Anagog collaborated to develop the EQ Ready App to help drivers decide whether it makes sense for them to switch to an electric or hybrid car. By implementing Anagog’s JedAI SDK in the EQ Ready App, they made it possible to try out driving an electric car in a virtual yet realistic way. The app does this by automatically recording real journeys made by the drivers in their current car (of any brand), analyzing their everyday driving patterns, and demonstrating how their personal mobility needs can be met with electric and hybrid vehicles.

“We have had the privilege to be selected to The Bridge Program, which is jointly supported by Daimler IT and Mercedes-Benz RD TLV, Coca-Cola and Turner,” says Ofer Tziperman, CEO of Anagog, “It gave us this great opportunity to be working with the Daimler team on this innovative application. The EQ Ready app is an excellent demonstration of our on-handset JedAI Artificial Intelligence Engine. We have combined our skills in signal processing, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to create a unique AI engine that does not require any communication with backend servers to analyze the user’s current mobility status and location as well as to predict future destinations and activities. Anagog’s JedAI enables the EQ Ready app to provide a much more personal and realistic experience to its end-users.”

The EQ Ready app can be downloaded free of charge for iOS and Android in German and English. It is currently available in Germany but additional countries and features are planned.
